The album created a unique combination of heavy, distorted guitars and a driving rhythm, with beautiful melodies and passionate lyrics. Title Fight was a punk band, but their sound took influence from hardcore punk, melodic hardcore, midwest emo, shoegaze and post-rock.
They formed in Kingston, Pennsylvania in 2003 by singer/guitarist Jamie Rhoden, singer/bassist Ned Russin and his twin brother, Ben, on drums when they were 13 years-old. Guitarist Shane Moran later joined in 2005.
