Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Talk Talk's iconic It's My Life album with this new edition that has been cut at half-speed by Matt Colton at Metropolis Studios, overseen by Talk Talk drummer Lee Harris and Charlie Hollis, son of Mark Hollis, giving the album a greater depth.
Talk Talk returned with their sophomore album It's My Life in 1984. The record features the singles 'It's My Life', 'Such a Shame', and 'Dum Dum Girl'.
It's My Life was stunning sign of the quantum leap Talk Talk had taken since the release of the group's 1982 full-length debut record, The Party's Over. The title song's lush production style and layers of hazy synths exploded the "new wave" template into glorious technicolor.
