I Disagree is the third studio album from Poppy, and the mysterious internet citizen shifts her sound. On Am I A Girl? and Choke, Poppy presented a very distinct brand of pop, and for this record, which she's labeling as post-genre, with a heavy pivot toward heavy metal from the beginning to end.
In that aspect, I Disagree feels like a first album: "I feel like everything that we've been working on is synchronizing. I feel like the past two albums were more of a sound bed to the YouTube videos we're making."
