Men I trust have proven to be one of the most prolific and influential indie pop artists of the last decade and are not slowing down in 2025 with a second LP in the Equus album series following Equus Asinus with the new record Equus Caballas.
Towards the end of 2019, it felt like indie pop and indie rock had over-saturated the market and left bands having to branch out and create new ways to make their music original. While this was seen with many other artists, Men I Trust was already naturally in that direction and released their most critically acclaimed album that year which featured a wide range of musical influences and pushed their sound forward in many ways.
