Celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Joyful Rebellion by k-os, with his new reimagined and expanded edition of this classic album, newly titled Joyful Rebel Lion+. Originally released in 2004, Joyful Rebellion reached platinum status in Canada, earned k-os 3x Juno Awards and attracted internationally acclaim including praise from Pitchfork and Rolling Stone.
The album featured a total of six singles including the international hit “Crabbuckit", "B-Boy Stance", "Man I Used to Be", "The Love Song", "Crucial" and "Dirty Water". "Crabbuckit" was also awarded "Best Pop Video" at the MuchMusic Video Awards along with "Best Songwriter" and "Fan Choice Award" at the 2005 Canadian Urban Music Awards.
Expanding on the original release, this new edition includes four new unreleased bonus tracks, along with a rare previously released cover version of The Police track “The Bed’s Too Big Without You (Radio Edit)”, an unreleased mix of the track that was previously out as a bonus included on the “Crabbuckit” CD-single.
