Hum's 1998's Downward Is Heavenward is the magnum opus of all their studio albums. It showcases what would have been the next generation of hum music, although due to poor sales and a label drop from RCA the band eventually disbanded at the end of 2000.
The mix of grunge and space rock compliments each other nicely with the right amount of heavy riffs and psychedelic allure.
