Calvin's 1971 debut for Black Jazz Records heralded the arrival of a new jazz guitar star. Already esteemed for his work with organists Jimmy Smith, Jimmy McGriff and Jack McDuff, Calvin teamed with pianist Larry Nash on this album (Larry had played with Bill Withers, Etta James and many others).
